Home > Interactive Maps > Millstone Watershed
We have developed a series of general information maps for the
the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed.
The maps give you the chance to choose between various environmental/natural
resource layers for the area you are interested in. We have also added specific information
about zoning and lot boundaries for the towns where it is available. You can
view the entire
Watershed in one map, and then zoom in from there. This one
puts a bit of a burden on the server, so it can sometimes be slower to
redraw than the ones that cover a smaller area. If you are interested in a particular
town, it may be quicker to find what you need from the
municipality maps.
StreamWatch - Visual Assessment.
Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed residents can now easily identify if a stream near
them is in our River Action Teams (RAT) Program. Do an address search or simply zoom in to check out
which streams are not walked and are in the program and call us to sign up as a RAT Beat volunteer.
Call 609-737-3735 to volunteer.
As a special project, we have also created an
interactive
map highlighting the Penn's Neck area. This one includes "hotlinks" that you can click
on to view photos taken at various spots along the river.
